Our Honeymoon and Other Travel Plans

One of our favorite things to do (when time and money allow) is to travel. Here is a list of places we have been and plans for travel in the near future!

  • Friends in Low Places

    This Spring

    New Orleans, LA and Seattle, WA

    We have some good friends that have recently relocated to places around the country. We are hoping to pay Mike's friend Dan and his wife Jamie a visit in New Orleans, where Dan is attending law school, and mutual friends, Kyle and Stephanie, in Seattle, WA sometime this spring.

  • Our Honeymoon

    May 19th through May 24th

    Sonoma and San Francisco, CA

    We will be taking in the adventures of wine country, staying in a little cottage off the beaten path. Along with the fee to rent the cottage, we both get bicycles that we can ride in and out of the quaint downtown area. We will enjoy vineyard tours, picnics, the beginning of the jazz festival in Sonoma and many more fun events.

  • Christmas in Haiti

    December 2008

    Haiti (in various cities)

    Mike and I are excited about the prospect of spending a week next winter in Haiti. One of our dear friends, Pierre Louis Dumarsai, is a priest originally from Haiti. After visiting him in West Palm Beach, FL last spring, we have felt called to help with his economic lending program in Haiti so that individuals can start small businesses and begin to support themselves and their families. We have also been interested in the medical mission that they are continuing to expand there. We'll see what next winter has in store for us!!
